For those wondering: Gold jerseys traveled to Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. --- One of the questions of the day seemed sort of silly to me --- will Maryland wear gold jerseys in the ACC tournament.

And after pestering several amused members of Maryland's staff, I bring you this answer.

Maybe.

The Terrapins did bring their alternate home golds to Greensboro. They also brought the traditional home whites and road reds.

Presumably, they'd wear red in a Sunday title game matchup with Duke if it came to that. Presumably, anyway. With three jerseys available, you'll never know.

So while lots of people will want to know what jersey the Terps will don in the quarterfinals --- whether it is out of innocent curiosity or a willingness to actually flee an HD broadcast for a change --- it doesn't look like we'll really have an answer until the couple hours before the opening tip on Friday.

Just consider that gold works as a 'road' uniform against the other team's whites as well.
