Just in from the ACC is the all-conference lacrosse team.
One interesting detail: Virginia is the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, yet has the fewest selections to the all-league team.
That would normally be cause for suggesting sportswriters have finally figured something out --- seeing as how balance and not stars have helped the Cavaliers get to 11-1. But this voting was done by coaches.
One thing about the voting: Not a single midfielder --- but two goalies --- were selected. That probably shouldn't happen, but hey, it's not my award.
The position by position breakdown:
ATTACK
Billy Bitter, North Carolina
Grant Catalino, Maryland
Ned Crotty, Duke
Max Quinzani, Duke
Steele Stanwick, Virginia
Ryan Young, Maryland
DEFENSE
Ken Clausen, Virginia
Ryan Flanagan, North Carolina
Parker McKee, Duke
Brett Schmidt, Maryland
GOALIE
Chris Madalon, North Carolina
Brian Phipps, Maryland
Sorry this has nothing to do with lacrosse. I don't really follow lacrosse. But I do follow Patrick Stevens, especially during hoops season. Where will you be for next football/basketball season? Will you still be at this site? Please advise, I'm a big fan.

Eddienj ---
Thanks for the kind words.
Im not quite sure where I will be in the fall. One thing that will continue, regardless of where I am, is my Twitter feed (@D1scourse). That might be the easiest way to track me down. Also, Ill be sure to have a link to wherever I happen to land (if I land somewhere) on this site.
