The Terps will play two games at home in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, then play two against some combination of Illinois, Pittsburgh and Texas at Madison Square Garden the week before Thanksgiving.
Maryland visits Penn State (Dec. 1) in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, and are due to return the visit from Villanova from last year's BB&T Classic.
UNC Greensboro completes a home-and-home with the Terps with a visit to Comcast Center as well.
That accounts for seven of the 15 nonconference games.
In league play, Maryland will play Boston College, Duke, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest home-and-home as part of the ACC's schedule rotation. The Terps will visit Georgia Tech, Miami and North Carolina, while facing Clemson, Florida State and N.C. State at home.
The Hoyas will be part of the field of the Charleston Classic, along with Charlotte, East Carolina, George Mason, N.C. State, Wofford and two teams to be named later.
In addition to the Charleston Classic, the Patriots (per the South Florida Sun-Sentinel) will play host to Mike Jarvis and Florida Atlantic to begin a two-year series. The George Mason Basketball blog mentions that game, but also notes Harvard and George Washington will come to Fairfax as well.
