Eaton named interim AD at Maryland

Randy Eaton, the chief financial officer in Maryland's athletic department, will be the school's interim athletic director.

Debbie Yow, the Terrapins' AD since 1994, announced her departure for N.C. State last week. Yow's last day at Maryland in July 9.

Eaton is one the longest-tenured members of Yow's senior staff, arriving in 2003 after a stint at Houston.
