Here's a completely random puzzler for both Maryland and N.C. State fans: Will there be more pictures of Lee Fowler displayed in Comcast Center for the long term than anywhere at N.C. State?
Why does this question come up? Well, I noticed this in the halls of Comcast while in College Park the other day:
It's not a great photo on my part, but that is Fowler (right) congratulating Gary Williams for winning the national championship in 2002.
Fowler was the NCAA basketball committee chairman that year, so that explains his presence in that image. And no, that photo won't be taken down anytime soon.
So the score is College Park 1, Raleigh ??. Something tells me a few loyal readers who root for the Wolfpack would like to have their say in what that final score ultimately is.
1-0, College Park, now and forever!!

Exactly WHY should NC State have any prominently displayed pictures of Lee Fowler anywhere?
His tenure was marked by less than mediocrity in Raleigh, and the vast majority of NC State fans would rather forget him sooner rather than later.
In fact, he is now best known in Wolfpack country for his fake Twitter feed... Lee Folwer.

Never said State should or shouldnt.
Just saw a photo up here in College Park and was amused once I got to thinking about and decided to share. Nothing more and nothing less.

Is that a prediction or a dream scenario for you? Or both?
