You can go ahead and take the suspense out of Wednesday's announced attendance at Comcast Center.
It will be 17,950, Maryland's second sellout of the season.
In fact, the school also has a third sellout (not-so-shockingly, the Feb. 16 game against Duke) and would appear to be closing in on a fourth (tickets to the March 6 game against North Carolina are available only to Terrapin Club members).
There are no such restrictions on the Terps' other four remaining home games (Jan. 22 against Boston College, Feb. 2 against Wake Forest, Feb. 10 against Virginia and Feb. 23 against Clemson).
Now, just for fun, here's a rundown of the total number of announced sellouts and total games at Comcast Center in the building's 11-season existence, with the 2012-13 figure through tomorrow's announced sellout.
