Looking in on the three games of note on Monday, none of which actually qualify as true bubble-centric contests ...
* Oklahoma at Iowa State (7): The Cyclones are perfect at home, having already handled Baylor and Kansas State in Ames. The Sooners have alternated wins and losses in their last six games. This is the sort of game in which the winner is helped more than the loser is hurt.
* Notre Dame at Syracuse (7): The Orange are unbeaten in the Carrier Dome this year but have dropped their last two games. The Fighting Irish have won three straight and are safely in the field at the moment, though this week is significant for them. A visit from Louisville awaits on Saturday night.
* Seton Hall at Pittsburgh (9): The Panthers still have some tests left on their regular season schedule, but they're done with Georgetown, Louisville and Syracuse until at least the Big East tournament. Saturday's victory over Syracuse helps; so will avoiding losses to reeling teams like the Pirates, who have lost seven of their last eight. Pittsburgh just needs to tread water at home.
