GREENSBORO, N.C. --- Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen acknowledged wide receiver Tyrek Cheeseboro and offensive lineman Nate Clarke will attend Fork Union Military Academy this fall. Both players signed with Maryland in February.
Cheeseboro was a second-team all-state selection at Milford Mill in the Baltimore suburbs. Clarke, a 6-foot-6 280-pound product of Archbishop Carroll, was one of the top prospects in D.C. last year.
Unofficially, their delayed arrivals push Maryland to 83 scholarship players --- two below the NCAA limit --- two weeks before camp begins.
