Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen said his team escaped its trip to Miami without any major injuries.
In fact, this week could be a net-plus in terms of personnel at Friedgen's disposal when the Terrapins (6-3, 3-2 ACC) visit Virginia.
"We're just beat up --- a lot of bumps and bruises, a lot of kids won't practice til Monday," Friedgen said. "We're no worse than we were. We might get [Dave] Stinebaugh back, and we're hoping to get [Avery] Graham back."
Stinebaugh suffered an MCL injury Oct. 2 and has missed the last four games. At the time, it was believed to be a four-to-six week injury, and Saturday will mark six weeks since the tight end got hurt.
Graham (groin), a reserve cornerback, has also missed four straight games after getting hurt in practice days before Maryland played at Clemson.
