For the first time all season, Maryland junior Tony Logan has fallen behind former Terrapin star Steve Suter's punt return yardage pace from 2002.
Logan had 52 return yards Saturday against Miami, a perfectly respectable weekly total. It just happened to coincide with a game Suter had 92 return yards.

The good news for Logan? Suter tailed off --- partially because of a lack of opportunities --- in his final four regular season games in 2002. Suter managed 102 return yards in the final month of that season, so Logan will have a decent chance to match Suter's 13-game total.
The bad news? Since Suter had 13 regular-season games, he'll have an extra game to work with unless Maryland regroups and makes it to the ACC title game. Overall, Logan needs 210 more yards to break Suter's record.
If Logan gets only four more games, he'll need to average 52.5 yards --- a virtual duplicate of Saturday's game --- to surpass Suter. If Maryland makes it to Charlotte, the average needed drops to 42 yards a game.
