It wasn't a particularly pass-heavy game, but it's still interesting that the Terps' top three third-down targets throughout the season (Scott, Smith and Adrian Cannon) combined for two targets and no receptions on third down against East Carolina.

From a season-long perspective, Kerry Boykins moving the chains on a third-down reception is no surprise. All five of his third-down catches in 2010 resulted in first downs.
