Maryland wide receiver Stefon Diggs was named to the Maxwell Award watch list on Monday. The Maxwell is given to the nation's top player.
It is the second watch list nod for Diggs, who had 54 receptions for 848 yards and six touchdowns as a freshman last season.
Diggs is one of 76 players on the watch list. Other ACC players on the Maxwell list include Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd, Miami running back Duke Johnson, Miami quarterback Stephen Morris, North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner, Syracuse running back Jerome Smith, Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas and Clemson wideout Sammy Watkins.
