As requested (and planned), the ACC columns get unveiled after Maryland's second league game.
An obvious (but worthwhile) observation on Jordan Williams: His number in this category is probably the most likely to stick close to Maryland's overall margin in close games or against serious competition. The reason is simple: He'll be on the floor more than anyone.
He was +1 when Maryland beat College of Charleston by a point.
He was -5 in a four-point loss to Illinois.
He was +21 in 23-point rout at Penn State.
He was -4 as Maryland fell by three to Temple.
He was -2 in a four-point defeat against Boston College.
So that actually makes -11 in a seven-point loss --- hardly an out-of-the-ordinary number --- against Duke a slightly off-the-mark figure. It also speaks to how well Maryland treaded water in the brief times Williams went to the bench at Cameron.
